When our family of 5 made the move from Sydney 8 years ago, we really needed a place to connect. We found a home here at HCC. While I am often organising people, rosters and programs, my passion lies in seeing people connect with the truth of who God really is and their true identity in Him. I know that no program can come close to the transforming power of Jesus at work in our lives.

Joan and David Maddison | Pastoral Care

We have been attending HCC for 10 years and started coordinating Pastoral Care in 2017. Our passion is to love, support and grow others in their journey of life and faith as well as reach out and sow into our local community. Throughout our time in ministry we have also been children and youth pastors and we still have the same passion to see young people grow in the Lord. We have been married for over 50 years and are blessed to have two kids. One daughter, son in law and a granddaughter live in Queensland which gives us a great excuse for regular holidays, our other married daughter lives in Eleebana. We are open to a chat anytime.
