We’re saving a seat for you
We know walking into a church for the first time can be daunting. We want to make your first experience at Hunter Christian Church a great one.
Location and Service Times
On the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month we gather for our Celebration Services as a whole congregation on the Lawn of our Church building (Kahibah Public School in wet weather). On the 2nd and 4th Sunday we meet in small groups around Newcastle. You are not required to register for our Celebration Services.
1st and 3rd Sunday of each month | 9:30am
2nd and 4th Sunday of each month | various times
In total, our services are about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the HCC band leading the church in music. After this we share some stories about our church life and our kids journey down to their kid’s ministry programs. Our pastor will then share a message from the Bible.
What about my Kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week – and at HCC, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Due to this we have a detailed check-in process for our HCC kids programs the first time you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the HCC kids experience. HCC kids is available for kids aged 3-12.

All areas of our church are accessible by ramp and we have a disabled toilet available for use. If you have limited mobility but don’t wish to bring your walker along, we have walkers available for you to borrow upon arrival.
