We’re saving a seat for you
We know walking into a church for the first time can be daunting. We want to make your first experience at Hunter Christian Church a great one.
Location and Service Times
We meet at the same time and place every weekend!
Sundays | 9:30am
You may come in as a stranger, but you’ll leave as part of a family
In total, our services are about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the HCC band leading the church in music – song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After this we share some stories about our church life and our kids journey down to their kid’s ministry programs. Our pastor will then share a message from the Bible.
What about my Kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week – and at HCC, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Due to this we have a detailed check-in process for our HCC kids programs the first time you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the HCC kids experience. HCC kids is available for kids aged 3-12.

Where should I sit?
We are saving a seat for you.
When you visit you can either sit wherever you feel comfortable or request a seat be saved for you. This way, there is no stress of deciding where to sit.
At HCC we have an allocated seating section for our youth. If you bring young people along, they are more than welcome to join us at the front on the right.
We have onsite parking available as well as plenty of street parking. To be respectful to our neighbouring residents we request that you don’t park on the right side (the side the Church isn’t on) of Hillcrest Parade as it can become very narrow.
If you need help getting to HCC please get in contact.
All areas of our church are accessible by ramp and we have a disabled toilet available for use. If you have limited mobility but don’t wish to bring your walker along, we have walkers available for you to borrow upon arrival.
What should I wear?
There’s no need to send a panic text message to a friend asking “what are you wearing” because absolutely anything goes here. We don’t mind how you’re dressed or how many tattoos you have we just care that you’re here.
In Summary, wear something.
“Last week I wore shorts and a t-shirt, this week a dress, I love how I can just be comfortable and be accepted for who I am”
